Many stores across the country are dedicating specific hours for our local seniors to shop. Hy-Vee, Dollar General, and Fareway are among some of the local chain stores offering these services. ENOA has always been a valuable resource for seniors. While their offices are closed at this time, they are implementing a “Grab and Go” meal program to help seniors in need. ENOA’s Meals on Wheels program will continue with business as usual for the frail in-home clients. The ENOA’s Rural Transportation service is only taking riders to medical appointments at this time and only allowing one passenger in the van.

If you are located in the Norfolk area, Norfolk is offering free rides for essential services such as getting to work or the grocery store. NPT is also picking up and delivering meals from the Norfolk Senior Center and is working out a plan to pick up and deliver pre-ordered and pre-paid groceries directly to residents as well.
